Wie auch immer, nach den vier Wochen TLA-Hölle, draufgepackt noch nen Umzug, war es unbedingt Zeit, Energie zu tanken. Und vor allem endlich meine Eltern mal wieder zu sehen. Immerhin war es ja nun doch schon über ein halbes Jahr her, seit ich Deutschland verlassen und somit sie zum letzten Mal gesehen habe.
Entsprechend gab es am Flughafen, ich bin ja auch erst Heiligabend geflogen, ein paar Tränchen sowohl bei meiner Mama als auch bei mir. Aber damit hab ich mir als nur gerechnet. Die anschließenden paar Tage "zuhause" waren jedenfalls sehr schön und super erholsam. Und wie immer viel zu schnell rum. Haben mir aber grad nach den Strapazen der vorangegangenen Wochen mehr als gut getan.

Yes, somewhat strange writing about Christmas in the middle of August, but hey, I hear there are folks who listened to Christmas songs mere days ago ;) (you know who you are, my loyal reader ;) )
Anyway, after four weeks of TLA hell, in addition to that the move, it was finally time to re-energise. And more importantly to finally see my parents again. After all it had been more than halb a year since I had left Germany and last seen them.
Which is why there had been shed a few tears of joy from both my mum and me after I had landed. Mind, I only arrived on Christmas Eve (which is for us Germans the main Christmas Day actually, with all the presents etc.). But I had anticipated this would happen. The following few days had definitely been really lovely and relaxing. And as always they were over way too fast. But I really needed those few days after the struggles from the previous weeks.

War schön dich an Weihnachten zu Besuch da gehabt zu haben. Denken das wichtigste war Erholung, Katzen und Badewanne (in der Reihenfolge).
