Meine Pläne schmeißt es dadurch natürlich um Einiges durcheinander, aber wenn ich die Bitte meiner Vermieter blocken würde (wozu ich rein rechtlich gesehen voll und ganz berechtigt wäre), vermute ich, würde unser Verhältnis doch massiv drunter leiden. Und wer will dann schon in so einem Umfeld noch wohnen? Es gibt eine Übergangs-Wohnung, in die ich für ca. 2 Monate einziehen werde, bevor ich dann zu meinen Eltern bis maximal Mitte September ziehen werde. Finanziell ist der frühere Auszug für mich natürlich von Vorteil, aber ein bisschen rausgekickt aus meinem Zuhause fühle ich mich derzeit schon. Wenn mein Vermieter mir nochmal mit "Ach, das ist doch für beide Seiten eine win-win-Situation." kommt, dann kriegt er ziemlich sicher mal gehörig was zu hören. Für ihn mag es ein Umzug sein. Faktisch betrachtet, hat er Recht. Typisch Mann. Aber für mich geht es um die Aufgabe meines Zuhauses. Ich glaube, meine Vermieterin weiß das. Bei ihr habe ich das Gefühl, sie versetzt sich voll und ganz in meine Situation, genauso wie ich mich ja auch in die Lage meiner Vermieter versetzt habe, und deshalb diesem Hauruck-Auszug zugestimmt habe. Aber mein Vermieter ist da leider nicht so.
Aber gut, Jammern nutzt nix, und wer weiß, vielleicht bringt es mir tatsächlich noch den entscheidenden Vorteil, dass ich schon etwas unabhängiger bin, wenn ich nicht mehr hier wohne. Denn sollte ich auf einmal doch schon einen Job in Großbritannien finden, dann brauch ich wirklich nur noch Koffer packen und bin auf und davon.

Ich denke, es ist offensichtlich, mir wird hier im Augenblick alles andere als langweilig. Und wenn ich dann mal einen Job in GB habe, dann blicke ich auf all diesen Stress zurück und denke mir "Ich habs geschafft. Das war es wert."

Yes, I'm still alive and the blog isn't dead. However things have been quite turbulent lately and so my time for posting anything was too short. And so I want to try to summarise the cornerstones of my immigration that have taken place so far.
The most important part comes right at the top: I'll be moving out on the weekend 27/28 April 2013. It surely wasn't my plan and I cannot say I'm fully happy with it, but it is how it is. Yesterday I handed over the notice of cancellation of my tenancy contract to my landlord. Technically and legally I could still live here for three more months until 30 June 2013. But me being me, I'm supporting my landlords because they desperately need my place as of 1 May 2013. I don't want to go into the details though.
My plans are being turned upside down because of this, but if I didn't comply with my landlords' plea (which I could do, legally), I guess our relationship would severely suffer. And who'd want to live under such circumstances then? I'll be moving into a substitute apartment and live there for about 2 months before I'll move back in with my parents until mid September tops. Financially speaking it is quite an advantage for me, but it doesn't change that I feel kicked out of my home a little bit right now. So if my landlord starts again with "Oh come on, it's a win-win situation for all of us." I'll probably give him a piece of my mind. For him it may simply be a move. Looking at it matter-of-factly, he is right. Men! But for me, it's giving up my home. I have the impression my landlady is aware of that. I think she tries to put herself into my place, just as I try to see everything from my landlords' perspective, which is why I have agreed to this rushed action. But my landlord doesn't.
Oh well, whining is no use and who knows, maybe in the end it will be a huge advantage for me, once I'm a bit more independent by no longer living in this place. Because should I suddenly find a job in Great Britain while I'm still living here, then I just need to pack my bags and am off.

I guess it's obvious I'm far from getting bored these days. And once I have a job in Great Britain, I'll look back at all this mayhem and will say to myself "I made it. And it was worth it."
