Kleines Update / Small update

So, jetzt mal was ohne Bilderflut. Nur ein bisschen Text. Seit anderthalb Wochen "wohne" ich nun in der neuen Bude, von Einleben kann aber keine Rede sein. Nach wie vor viel zu großes Chaos, und mich stresst, dass ich weder Telefon noch Internet habe, obwohl insbesondere das Internet meine Hauptbedingung war für den Auszug. Aber mein Ex-Vermieter hat ja Wichtigeres zu tun. Klar, jetzt bin ich draußen, warum sich also noch an jedwede Vereinbarungen halten? Traurig, aber wahr. Jedenfalls bislang. Mal schaun.

Aber ich versuche, nach vorne zu blicken. Positiv zu denken, viel steht meiner Auswanderung eigentlich nicht mehr im Weg. Drum also der Stand der Dinge: der Verkauf meiner Möbel hat begonnen, das erste Teil ist gestern schon weggekommen. Ich denke, das kann unter Umständen echt schnell gehen. Und wer weiß, vielleicht muss es auch auf einmal schnell gehen. Vorgestern, also am Montag, habe ich eine Email reinbekommen von einer Oxford Recruitment Agency zwecks der Position eines Customer/Publisher Liaison Executive in Abingdon. Musste ich auch erst mal schauen, wo das ist. N paar Kilometer südlich von Oxford und ca. 50-60 km westlich von London. Hatte angeboten, dass heute ein Telefon-Interview stattfinden kann, aber leider keine Rückmeldung erhalten. Und bislang blieb das Telefon auch stumm. Ja, wie kann denn Telefon gehen wenn ich keinen Anschluss habe? Gut aufgepasst. Ich bin grad bei meinen Eltern. Denn hier hab ich wenigstens Internet ;)

Joah, soviel zum derzeitigen Stand der Dinge. Jetzt am Wochenende kommt Denise, wird mir bestimmt auch gut tun :)

Right, let's try an entry without picspam. Just a bit of text. For a week and a half I've been "living" in my new place now, except that it doesn't really feel like living there yet. The chaos is still way too big and I'm more than miffed that I have neither a working telephone nor internet, even though the internet was my main condition for moving out early. But my former landlord has more important things to do. Of course, now that I've left, why stick to any agreements? Sad, but true. At least so far. We'll see.

But I try to look ahead, to think positive, because there isn't much in the way for my immigration now. So here's the current status: selling my furniture has started, the first piece was picked up yesterday already. I guess it could go quite quickly should the need arise. And who knows, perhaps it has to go real quick all of a sudden. The day before yesterday, aka Monday, I got an email from an Oxford Recruitment Agency in regards to the position of a Customer/Publisher Liaison Executive in Abingdon. I have to admit, I had to check where that place is. A few miles south of Oxford, and about 30-40 miles west of London. I offered a phone interview today, but so far the phone has been silent. Yes, how can the phone ring if it isn't working? You paid attention! I'm currently at my parents' place. Because here I at least have a working internet connection ;)

Well, that's the current situation. Denise is coming over this weekend. I'm sure that'll do me good :)
