Auspacken ist angesagt / Unpacking is happening

Wie ihr euch ja vorstellen könnt, ging es die folgenden Tage bei mir rund. Auspacken und Verräumen. Was für eine Heidenarbeit. Vor allem, da mir doch auch irgendwie schon klar war, dass ich sehr wahrscheinlich den Mietvertrag nicht nach dem halben Jahr verlängern werde. Sich da zu motivieren, alles vernünftig aufzuräumen, ist entsprechend nicht erfolgreich gewesen. Zumal ich ja auch die Kartons weiter aufheben musste, denn der ganze Kram wird dann ja wieder verpackt werden müssen. Man man man, da wollte ich lieber gar nicht daran denken, da ich das nun bereits zweimal hinter mir hatte in den letzten vier Monaten. Aber hier sehr ihr mal in etwa, wie ich gewütet habe. So ganz alleine ist das aber schon recht fade...

As you can imagine, I was really busy the following days after my stuff had been delivered. Unpacking and getting everything organised. Quite a lot of work. Especially as I had a feeling I wouldn't be extending my letting contract after half a year. So finding the motivation for storing everything properly was not necessarily something I managed to succeed in. Plus, I needed to keep all my boxes, as I would have to pack all my stuff once more. I really did not want to think about that, as I had done the packing twice in the previous four months already. But here you can see, how much I still worked. Being on my own was a bit boring though...

Doch ab und an habe ich mich auch mal aus meiner Wohnung gewagt. Vor allem nachdem ich auch endlich meinen Buspass hatte. Das ganze Busnetzwerk zu meiner Verfügung. Da habe ich mich dann auch mal an einem schönen Wochenendtag in den Bus gesetzt, der eine Stunde quer durch die Stadt tingelt. Einfach nichts tun, Gegend anschauen, und potentiell näher auskundschaften, wo ich vielleicht als nächstes hinziehen will.

But every now and then I managed to leave my flat. Especially as I finally had my bus pass. The entire network available. So on a nice weekend day I got onto the bus, which took an hour to drive all across town. Doing nothing, exploring the town, and potentially checking out where I might move to next.

Oder meine Bushaltestelle in Boscombe. Jeden Morgen stand ich hier und habe auf den Bus gewartet, der mich zur Arbeit brachte. Das weiße Haus in der Mitte des Bildes ist das Haus, in dem meine Wohnung war.

Und zu guter Letzt Pizza. Ja, ich esse auch ab und an was. Diese Pizza hier ist so groß und mächtig, dass das immer zwei Essen für mich waren. Da kann man dann kaum was gegen den Preis von 5 Pfund für die ganze Pizza einwenden.

And last but not least, pizza. Yes, every now and then I do eat ;) This pizza here is so huge that it was always two meals for me. In that case you really couldn't argue about the price of 5 Quid for the entire pizza.
